Black History Month Celebration: Together We Stand Strong 2026

On February 13, 2026, BGC Moncton hosted its annual Black History Month celebration, Together We Stand Strong, at the Moncton Coliseum, bringing together community members, youth, and local partners for an evening of culture, learning, and connection.

The event began with a Community Market and Black-Owned Business Showcase, where guests explored booths from organizations and businesses such as CCCANB, Pure Gold Foundation, TMDC, Baobab African Store, and GHZone African Market. Attendees also took part in a panel discussion, “Building Black Business in Moncton: From Idea to Impact.”

The evening continued with live performances and inspiring talks celebrating Black culture and community. The stage program featured guest speaker Diani Blanco, performances by WE Band and The Fusion Band, a dance performance by Sebina, and a fashion runway by SESH Collections.

The event was a meaningful opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate culture, and reflect on the importance of Black History Month.
