Emerging Leaders

Sparking Inspiration, Engagement, and Collaboration

We are proud to offer programs that empower and teach youth, creating the confident leaders and conscientious citizens of tomorrow.

Ingenium: Inspiring Growth

Ingenium revolves around the idea of an entrepreneurial lab, where participants will turn their ideas into business and social enterprise start-up projects, notably following the Lean Canvas model for businesses.

Youth ages 13 to 18 will get together to shape their start-up projects on a weekly basis with an expert. They will also benefit from intercultural dialogue, podcast activities, and presentations from various inspirational leaders and partners from throughout the region.

Presenting the first episode of our new Podcast!!

Welcome to the Boys and Girls Club of Moncton – Podcasting edition!

Youth Votes

Young people at the Boys and Girls Club of Moncton are becoming more engaged in the democratic process as part of the club’s new Youth Votes programming, which saw them, welcome candidates, from four of the province’s main political parties before the youth then cast their ballots in a mock election.

Boys Empowerment Program

The Boys Empowerment Program is a safe place for our male members, ages 10-18, to come hang out and spend time speaking up on the issues and stereotypes boys face every day. Boys Group participants will also have the opportunity to go on a few interest-based field trips. Our Boys Empowerment Program offers group mentoring for boys and young men with information and support to make informed choices about a range of healthy lifestyle practices.

Girls Empowerment Program

The Girls Empowerment Program is a place for our female members to spend time together building self-esteem and leadership skills. We will have theme nights as well as interest-based outings. The single most important goal of our programs is to positively shape the lives of young women and girls by helping them build a positive self-image, setting them on a path to reach their full potential in life.

TORCH/Keystone Leadership Clubs

TORCH and Keystone Clubs are Jr. and Sr. leadership and empowerment programs for youth aged 8-12 (TORCH) and 13-18 (Keystone). The philosophy is very much dependent on solid teamwork and group support. TORCH and Keystone Clubs empower youth with the knowledge and the skills to make positive choices in their lives in addition to giving them a place to use their creative skills to make a difference.

Community Outreach Initiatives

Participants will have various opportunities to participate in their community while giving back. This could include volunteering time, fundraising, collecting items for those in need, maintaining the cleanliness of the community, etc. Some of our past initiatives include Christmas shoeboxes, project backpack, winter clothing drive, the collection of essential items for people who are homeless, etc.
